  • Performed licensing and credentialing for physicians, outpatient and ambulatory healthcare facilities.
    Incubated pre-IPO ventures and IT Internet based products and first dollar full risk insurance products.

  • Responsible for negotiating reimbursement contracts with national healthcare payers for EBT and MRI screening this included developing business models for a National Call Center.
  • Developed and implemented three strategic partnerships to create a unique convergence among technology and business processes as part of a corporate merger.
  • For the merger of two regional Third Party Administrators negotiated, reviewed and performed the due diligence for the evaluation of synergy products, networks, personnel, facility, claims platforms (RIMS and TriZetto), claims processing, client base, data entry and data warehousing capabilities.
  • Developed and created outsourcing contracts for Claims Auditing, Medicare Claims Processing, Medicare Billing, Practice Management, Data Entry, Date Warehousing, Turn-key Software Products, Flexible Benefits, COBRA administration and Network Management.
  • Managed diagnostic imaging facilities offering MRI, CT, extended related services, such as physician practice management, clinical research and health-care-related e-commerce. This included increasing revenues by developing new network and provider contracting opportunities for workers’ compensation, independent medical examinations and medical testing.
  • Responsible for management of projects for publicly traded companies creating customer focus using a customer relationship management (CRM) strategy to include reengineering, organizational change, incentive program change and a totally revamped corporate culture.
  • Developed and implemented a comprehensive business and marketing plan for virtually all areas of newly formed physician-owned IPA
  • Designed, developed and implemented a Marketing Program for a Radiology Network.
    Performed an evaluation and selection of all professional service firms, outsource vendors and internal systems for a start-up PPO, including preparation of RFP’s, evaluation of responses and negotiation of contracts. Evaluations included claims, premium/enrollment, credentialing, profiling, accounting and technology.
  • Development and implementation of a comprehensive business and marketing plan for a newly formed physician-owned HMO
  • Responsibility for the complete evaluation, due diligence, development and implementation of a physician recruitment capitalization plan.
  • Project managed the development of a full risk HMO product for a joint venture between an HMO and a Physician/ hospital organization (PHO).
